AuguSt_ 9, 1915. the Council opened and canvassed the returns of said Election held in the territory proposed to be annexed. 'ISle vote appearing therefrom as follows: Shall the following d,eseribed property be annexed to and become a part of the City of Eugene, Oregon. to-wit: Co~.~mencing at a point on the west side of Alder street, and the present City Limits on the south, and running thence South along the West line of Alder Street to the North line of 25th street; thence west along the North line of 25th street one block more or less to the west line of the County Ro~xt; thence South along the West line of the County Road to the South line of Lakin Street; thence east along the South line of Lakin Street : as sho'~n on recorded plat, to the East line of University Avenue; thence North along the East line of University Avenue to the South line of the Nasonie Cemetery; thence West along the South line of the N~sonic Cemetery to the Southwest Corner thereof; thence North along the We~t line of said Cemetery to the Northwest Corner thereof; thence East along the North line of said Cemetery to the East line of University Avenue if ex~ended South to North line of ~,~asonis Cemetery; thence North along the East line of University Avenue if extended South to the South line of the Present City Dimits; thence West on the South line of the City Limits to the place of beginning. No. I For annexation No. 2 Against annexation Najorit¥ for annexation 10 votes no votes ]LO votes Notion was made, seconded and carried that the Council finds and determines that in the territory proposed for annexation the measure has carried in f~vor of annexation by a m~jority of l0 votes, and the Council now proceed to canvass the result of said Election within the City of k~gene. Thereupon the Council proceeded to canvass the votes and the returns thereof in the several City Wards and Polling Places on the question of the annexm- tion of the property above described to the City of k~gene.
