<br /> dustry spur track upon and across V~ Bureu Street end a certain unnmned Street or High
<br /> -~ay, which runs parellel,'tu Orego~ ~d California Railway Company's Might of Way
<br /> on the Southerly side thereof being East of V~ huron Street ~d North of Second
<br /> Street in the City of ~gene, Oregon, . On motion, the franchise was g~t~d.

<br /> ~ Ordlnsnee levying assessments f~r the construction of a sewer ~n
<br />Bm~levard in the Cityof ~gene, Oregon having been re~ the first time J~u~ry
<br />1922, and some having been considered at a 2ouncil meeting J~uary 30th~ 1~22, the
<br />time set for hearing objections thereto, ~d s~e at said meeting having been referred
<br />to the City Attorney, O. H. Foster and furthe~ consideration of the Ordinance post-
<br />poned until the next meeting this being the next council meeting thereafter. Said
<br />Ordinance was considered and continued'in the hand~ of the City Attorney until next
<br />Council meeting.
<br /> Mr. ~' Voght appeare~l before t~e'Ceuneil stating that he desires to erect a
<br />residence o~ the South side ef 6th. Avenue West between Olive~ e~d Charnelto~ Streets,
<br />the some being with~ the fire limits ef ~gene and ~sk~ for a'speci,~l pe~it to ~.
<br />reef the ~esidence. Upon motion, a special pe~lt was grated.
<br /> ~rl~ten petition was presented, to the City Council asking the paving
<br />Street between 8th ~d ~th Avenue East. The matter was referred t~ the Street Com-
<br />ml~ee to Investigate.
<br /> Nr. J. W. Barrl~ger stat~ te the Ceunell that~the fee~ for moving buildi~gs
<br />the streets of ~g~e, Oregon were tee high, ~nd requesting the council te ~e~d the
<br />Ordinance relating thereto, reduclng the fees. Upon merles, the matter was laid
<br />the table.
<br /> N~ J. Gl~seu appeared appeared before the Counell stating that the Osbcrn Hotel
<br />Company had mov~ a sm~ll building cn to their property at the cer~er cf 7th Av~enue
<br />a~d Pearl 'Street end ask~ f~r a~special pe~it to'make the ~ecessery repairs upon
<br />sald building. Upe~ motion, the petit'was grauted.
