The repor~ of InsPector o~-~ildin~s fo~ March 1922 w~'preSent~ ~d The quarterly report of the City Treasurer w~ present~ ~d o~de~ed POLICE CCMMITTEE Chalrm~.an Willoughby.reported that the committee ~ad investigated the matter of removal of bill boards at thesoutheast corner of intersection of 5th and Blair streets amd that the boards could not be removed as they were constructed on private property by permit of the Inspector of Buildings On Motion the report was adopted. JUDICIARY COMMITTEE. The Judiciary Committee and Me~Vor Paterson reported that h W No'~llng would accept $100o00 for right of ~ay so that sewer might be constructed from Polk street east to Gr~d street and south on Grand street to Railroad Boulevard in the city of Eugene Upon motion, the repox, t was adopted and the right of way deed authorized to be secured. Mr F A Re'kin ~ppeared before the Council smd stated that the water pipes in front of h~s property at #70 6th ave west were moved a~d re- placed when th ,ewer was built but the water was not turned onand asked the Council to ~have the water turmoil on The matter was referred to the fli'e and Water~committee and city Engineer with power to act. Mr. ~ I Collins represemting the owners ~f Battle Court asked the Council to have a telephone pole removed from ia front of the entrance to th$lr p~operty where gar~es have been constructed on the alley extending north add south f~om l~th t, 12th ave east between Oak andPearl streets. The matteP wa~ referred tO th~ ~ and water committee with power to act.
