Parks and councilmen W~lker, H~nr~e, Slovens, WIX[l~son, Wallace <br />and Washburne. Absent Mosher ~d Monistat. <br /> <br />P arks. <br /> <br /> The petition filed June llth, 1923 by resideuts of Villard St. to have the dido- <br />walk re-located was again pre~ented and said petition was on motion denied. Ail <br />present voting aye, except Willimmson, who voted nay. <br /> <br /> Thepetltlon signed by Loyal w. Adk~son et al,, ·to have 18th Ave. W. to the city <br />limits opened.as a public thoroughfare presented and discussed b7 th etltioners <br />the Council. The City Attorney offered A re~olutlon to the council deol~lng <br />expedient that such street be opened, laid out and .established, ~d,the City <br />ear empowered' ~d directed .t9 make a surve~ of suc~ street ~d a plat thereof with <br />his report, dnd file the s~e with the City Recorder wlthl~ twenty~ays from date, <br /> <br />all of which is fully .~et out in said resolution. On motion such resolution was ad- <br />opted. <br /> <br /> A petltio~ was presented by residents of Birch Lane asking fo~ a street Light <br />to be installed approximately one block east of the intersection of ~s, id Lane~with <br />Falrmoont Blvd. The Fi. re and WaterCommlttee having approved the s~m~,~ said p~titlon <br /> <br /> '-The Fire aadWater Committee reported favorably'on thePetltion df the Grangers <br />~gene, Warehouse, asking permission to erect ~ wooden building within the <br />limits of the city ~d at the southwest corner of 5th Ave. W. ~d Ollve Street. and <br />o~ motion, the s~ld report w~s ~epted but wibh t~e quallflcatlo~ that said pe~lt <br />ls gr~ted only with the s~e qualifications attaoh~ as was the the pe~lt giv~ <br />giv~ F.E.
