Council Chambers, EUgene, Oregon. <br /> <br />Pebruary, l!th, 1924. <br /> <br /> Regular meeting of the City Council held in the Council 'Chembers Feb. 11, 1924. <br />Present Councilmen McAllater, WaLker, Monroe, Simmons, Wllllamson~',~ Wallace amd <br />Washburne. Absent, Mayor Parks and Councilman Nosher° The Mayor and President <br />of ~he Counoll both being absent the meeting wa~ called to order by City Recorder <br />Gilmore, who announced that the selection of ~ membe~ of the Council bo act as <br />ehalrm~ would be In order. On motion duly earrled Counellm~ No~lster was elect- <br />ed as ehal~ of the meeting. ' Counell e~ll~ to order ab 7:30 P.M. Minutes of <br />the meetings of the Counell ~or J~. 14, J~ 21, and February 1, 1924, re~ ~d <br />approved. <br /> <br /> Jo.hn Hunzicker appeared on behalf of the o',ncr of the Warnock Block recently <br />burned, and submitted plans and prints relative to the repair thereof amd asking <br />that said Owner be permitted to rebuild under the plans ~ubmitted. Said matter was <br />referred to the ~ull[ling Inspector a~d the Fire and Water Committee. <br /> <br /> Attorney ~red E. Smith appeared calling attention to the condition of a oertalr. <br />sidewalk in front of the Humphrey p£o~erty on South WilLamette Street. Same was <br />referred to the Street Co:mnitteeo <br /> <br /> Harold Bassonette appeared and called the Comxcil's attention to thC'condition <br />of the street at 16th Avenue West amd Jefferson Street.
