Same wa~ referred to the Street Committee. A petition was received from residents of Nonroe Street asking that said str~e~ be paved with Oem~d$ from Seventh to Eighth Avenues. Same wa~ ~eferred to the Gtre~t Committee° A petition was received from C. 0. Petersdn, as the sole o~,~er of the property of Block "B" of the original plat of the City asking ti~at the alley running North and South thru said block be vacated. On .motion such petition was granted. The 8treet c~m[~ittee'havlng reported favorably on the petition to pave LincoLn Street from'7th to llth, Avenue~, the report was, on motion, granted. The Street Comf~lttee having reportet favorably od the .petition to pav~ Nl!l Street from 11th to 13th Avenues, except intersection, th~ report w~s, on motion, gr~nted. The Street 'C ~ittee having reported ~ver~ely on th~etition by re~lden~ of ~Sth Avenue East, t grade ~d gravel said street from ~ate to University Street.~ said 'report was, on.'motlon, approve. }.{r C,E. The m~ter oF the City changing the Street at the North end of ~{igh Street by 'vacating oSrtain alleys, and streets ~d tr~Ing property with private parties to make the street to the Auto Park more accessible, w~s t~en up and discussed. The City ~giuee~ and City Attorney wets instructed-to take such action as Is n~cessary to o~rry out 'the desire of the Co,mci! t~ hav~ m~h change m~e. A.I~. ~eDon~ld and 2. L. Chanbers appeared asking the City to take action toward the ~onstr,~c~ion of a new trunk sewer in the alley between Wil.L~ette ~d Olive Streets a~d ~orth from llth Avenue.
