<br /> 'Section 1. 'The Cotrmon Council of th~ City of D~gene, Oret,)n, is hereby
<br />authorized m~d empowered to issue and sell, the negotiable bonds of the city to the
<br />a;mount of--Two hundred thousemd~.--~-~--Dollars, or so much thereof as may nece,~sary,
<br />for the purpose of constructing and maintaining a ay,stern of drainage for that
<br />t~on of the city commonly knovm as the "~nazon Flats~ and the territory adjacent
<br />thereto, so as to form a complete drain~.ge sy,~t~n for the whole city.

<br /> Section 2. The bonds hereby authorized ~hall be-d~nomlnated-"&ne, zon
<br />Drainage Bonds"; they shall be the general obligations of the city, ~n~ shall be
<br />such form and of such denomination or denominations a:~ the Common Counoil of the
<br />city deem most conductive to their salability. They shall be made due and payable
<br />in 30 years from thed ate of their lssue~e~ and sbll bear lntere:~t not to exceed
<br />5~ per oanu, payable semi-anuall¥.
