397 Metering was called to order by Mayor E.B. Parks. MoAllster, Monroe, Simmons, Wllliamson, Washburne. The call as above given was read. Councilmen Present Nosher, Absent Walker and Wallace. The following reso!u~lon was read and on motion unanimously adoPted~ RESOLUTION· BE IT RESOLVED by the Commo~ Council of the City of EUgene, Oregon, that there be :submitted to the electors of the city for their appromal or rejection at a .special electior~ to be he~ in the city on the 2nd day of July, ~924, the anne~- e~proposed charter amende~!ent entitled, ~An act to amend the Charter of the City o'f ~gene, OregOn, by adding a new chapter thereto authorizing and empowering the Common Council of the City of issue and sell negotiable bonds of the City to the amount of T~lrty Thousand ($~0,000) Dollars or so much thereof as may be necessary fo~ the purpose of completing the reconstruction of the City Hall in accordance with the plans and specifications on file In the office of the City Recorder amd te repeal Section ~7, of Chapter 7, of the Charter of the City limiting the indebt- edness to be erected Or contracted by the city to Three Thousand (3,000) Dollars."
