That section 37, of chapter 7, of the charter of the City of Eugene, <br />Oregon, limit/~ng the indebtedness of the city to Three?.Th.~usand (3,000) Dollars <br /> <br />is hereby repealed. <br /> <br /> -The following resolution was read and on motion unanimously adopted. : <br /> <br /> R ES 0 B U T.I O N. <br /> <br /> ~BE IT ~OLVED by the Common Council of the City of Eugene, Oregon, that there <br /> <br />be submitted to the electors of the city for their approval or rejection, .at a <br />special eleotlon to be hold ln~the city on~ the 2nd day of. July, 1924, the annexed <br /> <br />proposed charter amendment entitled, "An Act tO amend the ~ Charter of the City of <br />Eugene~ Oregon, by adding a new ohapSer thereto authorizing and empovre~lng, the <br />Go~mon Counoll of th~ ClSy ~o Issue and sell negotiable bo~ds of the City to the <br />~ount of Five Theus~d {S, O00) Dollars, or so much thereof as m~ be necessary/for <br />the purpose o~ coA$~rueting, ~n conSunetlon with h~e County, Oregon, a public <br />co~or$ station to be looated In the park South ~f Eighth Avenue ~d Wes~ of Oak <br />8~reet in 5he oily, and tO repeal Section 37, of Chapter 7, ')f the Charter of the <br />City l~i$ing the indebtedness to be created or contracted by the olty to Three <br />ThouSand ~3,000) ~llars." <br /> The foregoing ~esolutlon and proposed ~endmen$ were filed In the office of <br /> <br />the Recorder, of the Olt¥ on the 2nd dayof Nay, 1924; <br /> <br /> <br />
