The. vo~e was ~ext 'canva.~sed in the 21 precincts of Eugene and the vote ir~the said city ~as 'also found to be in favor of,annexation, Said Co~mcll, afte~ macing said canvas made the following order and directed the City Recorde~ to file a transcript thereof In t~ieoffice of the Secretary of 8ba~e at Sal~m, Oregon, viz, 0 RD E~. . WHereas a petition was duly filed in the office of the City Recorder of the Olty of E~gEne, Or e gon by more than one-fifth of ~he qualified electors of said City and by also more than one-fifth of the legal and qualified electors of the proposed territory to be annexed asking that the territory known as Victoria Heights, Kincatd Park and ~lrs~ Addition to Ktnciad Park and which territory is described by metes and bounds as follows: Beginning at th~ intersection of the South line of the Oregon and California right of way with the west ~oundary of the Zara ~eet Donation Land CLaim No. 68 In T. b7 S.9. ~ west of the W.M. thence e~terly along the said south line of the 0 ~d C right of way to a point which ls 2092.86 feet East of the said west boundary of cla~ Ne. 68, thence 8. o' 40~ West 8.40 feet, thence No. 89e 20~ West 105~ feet, theace N. O' 40~ East 694.4 feet, thence west 1028 feet, more or less, to the sa~d west line of Claim No. 68, thence North Alo~ said line 6~8.9 feet, more or less to the pl~e of beglnn~g, all In L~e County, Oregon. be mmexed to and become a p~t of the corporate l~mits of said City of ~ene, Oregon, ~d the bo~darles of s~ld city changed to embrace such tract. And wherea~, said petition was allowed by said Council and the question of such annexation submitted to the elegtors of said City and also the electors residing within the territory proposed to be annexed at a duly called and con-. ducted specla~ election held on November 4, 1924.
