The 0rdine~ce was declared passed and numbered 4584. <br /> <br /> Forty one sidewalk a~sessmen5s 0rdlna~ceswere read the first time and laid <br />over. - <br /> <br /> Councilman Simmons asked that W.W.McCornack be pBaoed on the pay'roll at <br />$25.00 per month beginning F.ebruary l, 1925, to match other money iJald this <br />party by the Perk Board and by. o'~mers of Planes, as car'etaker~ of the Aviation <br />Field grounds and buildings. On m~tion.such· request wasi~nanlmously granted. <br /> <br /> Chairman Monroe of the. Street Co~nlttee took up the question of 8treat <br />cleaning and had a representative of the Elgin Company present, who t~lhstrated <br />by motion pictures the workings of the Elgin gutter machine and brooms. No <br />action was taken and the same is to bmought up at the next meeting of the Coun- <br /> <br /> Councilman Washburne of the Finance ~o~lttee r'~commended thee oontrao't ~or <br />ga~ and oil ~s produced by. the three oil companies of the city be not accepted <br />in their present form but ~hat-contraots be melie, with '~aoh of said companies for <br />not more then 1/~ of the amounts a~ shown in s~id oontr~t and ga~ & oil to be <br />received at any of their filling stations.
