Railway Co. track to 19th Ave. wish a parkway between and with a single <br />ro~lw~y from 19th .Ave. South either 30 or 34 feet wide. On motion s. uch report <br />was adopted. <br /> <br /> A petition was received to pave the alley between 6th and 7th Avenues, from <br />Oak tO Pearl Sis. Said matter wa,~ referred to the Street Co~nlttee which reco~ <br />mmended the Petition be grant~d. On motiSn said report wa,~ adopted. <br /> <br /> A petition was received to pave the alley between 6th and 7th Avenues, in <br />Bl'oCk $, of Skinnerts Donation. Said matter was referred to the Street conmittee. <br /> <br /> The Street Con~aittee reported favorCb'lY on the petition to pave Falrmount <br />Blvd. f~om the present pavement at Moss Street Northeast to 15th Ave.. and rec- <br />ommended the request of residents 'to assist in laying street grades etc. be <br />denied, and further recommended that steps be taken to vacate all portions of the <br />present street not req~lred' f~r such paved street as provided by the plans mf the <br />City ~glneer. ~t' w~ further recommended that X~th Avenue be paved f~om ~a~r- <br />mount to ~ate Streets lnsCe~ of Wa~u~ as originally peltloned fo~. 0n motion <br />such report was adopted. <br /> <br />An aerial permit was issued a~ follows: <br /> Glen Sims at 182 6th Ave. W. <br /> <br /> A hotel license was ls:~ued to JoE. Hill for a,.otel at the corner of 8th <br />Avenue and Willamette Street. <br /> <br /> The report of L.G.Helterllne, Milk Inspector, was read and ordered filed. <br /> <br /> MI. Svarverud appeared and asked that 22nd Ave. between Agate and ColUmbia <br />Streets be paved. He was asked to br lng in a written petition for that improve- <br />taent. <br /> <br /> C.B.Johnson, asked relief from his sewer esses.~ment in connection with the <br />sewer constructed between Monroe and Adams Streets north from 2nd Avenue. Said <br />matter was referred to the Sewer Comm£ttee, City ~glnner and City Attorney. <br /> <br /> Two sidewalk ImProvement 0rdinanoes were read the first time and passed thelr <br />second and third readings by title by unanimous consent ~nder suspenslonof the <br />rule and were placed on their final passage. The ayes and nays were called, al~ <br />p~esent voting aye. Nay none. The Ordinances were declared passed and n~nbered <br />4623 and 4624, <br /> <br /> <br />
