WHEREAS, it is necessary intYe proper planning and construction of the-sewer system of the Clty:.of_ Eugene, that a sewer shall be laid across property on ~he university of ore~on-from 15th Avenue South to 18th Avenue, .amd, WHEREAS, the Boa~d of Regents of the University of Oregon, have Info--ally agreed to sign a contract with the City Permi~tlng the constrUctlo~f said sewer bM the said Clty. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and Recorder of the City of E~gene, be and they are hereby directed and authorized to enter into a contract with the Board of R~gents of the University of Oregon that in consideration of the University of Oregon permitting the. laying of said sewer, that the City will agree that said sewer shall, be ~laid in a workmanlike and sanitary manner end that any reinforcement or reconstruction later required by reason of the erecting of structures upon said property shall be done by said City whenever requested by the Board~ ~of Regents.
