Paige " " ~'2670 An 0rdinanee to prohibit the driving or permitting aninals in the Public Parks and to protect, the streets,roads and highways in the Public Parks in the City of Eugene was read the 1st time and laid over. The following Resolution wJas read(High 3rd and Ferry) RESOLUTION WHerEAS on the 28th day of.March, 1921 there was lntroducted in the Common Council of the City of Ek~gene an Ordinance entitled, ~ An Ordinance levying assess- ments for the improvement of High Street from l~th A~enue East North to 3rd Avenue East in the 0ity of Ek~gene continuing thence East on Third Avenue Eas~ to Ferry Street continuing t~ence North on Ferry Street-to the Northerly City Limits of the City of Eugene" which improvements had been made.pursuant to Ordinances number 2371, 2~03 and 2~3 all p~ssed by the Common Council of the City of Eugene, Oregon and approved by the Nayor of said City which said ordinance so Introudced at said ~ime, to-wit, March 28,1921, w~s read the firs~ time at said time and place and laid over for notices to be given to the ~ropertM o~ers as provided b~ law, and ~ER~S notices of said pr,oposed assessment was duly made' and given to each and all off the o~e~s ~ the prope~'ty liable fo~ said assessmen~ sta~lng tha~ the Co~on Council of said City would mee~ a~ the orifice off the.0ity Recorder In the City Hall ~xgene, Oregon on the llth day of April, 1921 at 7:30 in the eve~ng fo~ the purpose of hea~i~ objections-to said proposed Ordinance l~v~lng said assessment for the costs of amid improvement as aforesaid, mhd '~P~S on s~id llth dmy of April, 1921 ~t 7:30 o'clock in the eveni~ of s~id d~y'~t the office ef the Uity Recorder in the Cit~ Hall in s~id Oity ~he Oo~on Council met for the purpose of hearl~ objections to said proposed a,se~sment and considerl~ the s~e, and ~~S mt s~id time and place Mt.
