The Street Committe~ recommende,1 the bid of 'Stlen Bros. at ~26,~57.60 for tthe pavin~ of Jefferson Street, From ith. Avenue to !3th. Avenue, on which blds~ twere calle'l f.~r ~ay 24th., 19~-6. Moved and seconded the report of such counmittee be adopted. The roll was called. A~[ .present voted "Aye". Nay "None". Absent a~d not voting Si~on~, Washburne an4 ~gh. The motion was declared carried.~ The Street Co~nittee reco~uen,le,1 all bids to l~nprove Birch Lane from Yairmount Boulevard to Maple Street be rejected and the matter of improving such Street be laid on the table, On motion s,~ch report was adopted. The City Engineer presented th,~ bill of 0sear Snow fo£ improving ALley between WilLamette Street and Olive Street from 13th. Avenue North at' the sum of '~[!'~9.31. The same being a~Proved by the ?iaance Co~m~lttee, It was, motion, oF~er~d paa3ed. Attorney Edward ?. Bailey of Junction City presented a petition on be- half of C.C. Holeman, ss!¢ing a rebate on the assessment of the ~roperty just North of the Southern Pacifle Mal~waz Co. track and just We~t of the ~lver ~oad and offered :~300 for full.~ettlement ~f such assessment. Such matter wa~ referred to the Street Co~nlttee. The D~g~ne Water Board fll~d its report for 19~5 and it was or lere~[ fiked.
