Absent Wa~hburn~, Large and Hendershott. <br />Meeting called to orde~ by the Mayor. <br /> <br /> Bids ~ ere opened as per the call for paving Olive Street from 15th to 17th <br />Avenue.~, as follows: <br /> W.W. ~e~d Construction Co. $6433.20 <br /> Stlen Bros. ' 6761.25 <br />Suct~ bids were referred to the Street Co~ittee for r~t and It reporte4 favora- <br />b'12 on the bid of W.W. He~I at $6435'.20. 0m-motion such re~rt was mlopted and the <br />NaMe r and Recorder were instructed to enter late ~ contact ~lth such successful <br />biddee for such contract work. <br /> <br />_ Bids were opened as per 'the call for the construction of a sewer on Fair- <br />mount Blvd. from Orchard Street to the south lime of I~'t 6, Block 30, Malrme~t, <br />as follows: <br /> Nautico Marqu lss ' $8~6.75 <br /> Oscar Snow 766.00 <br /> Yu~ker,Wleoks and C.o. 1053.25 <br />Such bids were referred to the Street Co~lttee for report ~nd It re~rted favor- <br />ably on the bid of Oscar Snow at $766.00. Bessonette appeared and suggested a method for the construction and financ- <br />ing of a bridge over the ~,azon on Jefferson Street which lies wholly within the <br />street intersection. Such matter was discussed, but no aetloa t~en. <br /> <br /> Mr. I~im of the Wentworth, Irwin Co. of Pertl~d aPPeared and filed ~ esti- <br />mate for furalsh~g ~ f~usher for the city om the basis ef taking ia as part <br />slderatiom ~h$ City's Federal Truck a~ $2~50.00 ~d leaving a net smount for such <br />flusher of $~650.00 as per the estimate ca file. Said matter was referred to the <br />Street Committee ~d, after discussion, It was, on roll call, unanimously carried <br />such flusher be purchased lm accord~ce with the estimate. <br /> <br /> A petition was filed asking that Potter Street from 23rd to 25th Avenues be <br />opened. The City ~glneer was directed to prepare plans for such opening. <br /> <br /> A petition was received to p ave 20th Avenue from Olive Street to Charnelton <br />Street. Said matter was referred to the Stree~ Committee amd it recommended such <br />petitle~ be grated. On motion such report was unanimously adopted. <br /> <br /> <br />
