A petition was filed asking that falrmount' Blvd. from 15th Avenue to the Railroad be vacated. M Svarverud appeared and 'spoke l~ favor of such' vacation, Said matter was referred to the Street Co ~mit'tee and the City ~hgineer. J.W. Paul Presented a petition asking for 'the extension of the sewer in the alley between .Char~elton St. and Lincoln St. tb the center of Block 21, south of 21st 'Ave. ~ matter was referred to the SeWer Conmittee. ~ W Brlstow appeared (;.nd asked permtssl on to erect ~a street clock at this place' of business on Willamette St. and presented a draw~ng'.of the s~me and furthe_ asked' that the citY furnish the electricitY in' connection therewith in connection with '~he operation of the c~uster lights.
