West 6th Avenue was filed' and the same referred to the fire <br />and Water Committee and the Inspector of Bulld[ings. <br /> <br /> A petition was filed asking that falrmount' Blvd. from 15th Avenue to the <br />Railroad be vacated. M Svarverud appeared and 'spoke l~ favor of such' vacation, <br />Said matter was referred to the Street Co ~mit'tee and the City ~hgineer. <br /> <br /> J.W. Paul Presented a petition asking for 'the extension of the sewer in the <br />alley between .Char~elton St. and Lincoln St. tb the center of Block 21, south of <br />21st 'Ave. ~ matter was referred to the SeWer Conmittee. <br /> <br /> ~ W Brlstow appeared (;.nd asked permtssl on to erect ~a street clock at this <br />place' of business on Willamette St. and presented a draw~ng'.of the s~me and furthe_ <br />asked' that the citY furnish the electricitY in' connection therewith in connection <br />with '~he operation of the c~uster lights. Aft[er discussion such request was <br />g r an ted. <br /> <br /> The unit'ed States Government requested lr~ '~riting that the assessment enter- <br />ed against the post offlc'e propertY for the improving of the Wtllamette gutters <br />be cancelled as illegal .setting out the reason.s.
