Council Chambers, EUgene, Oregon. July llth, 1927. Regular meeting of the Co~,zon Council held July llth, 1927. There were present Mayor A.b. Willl~mson and all members of the Council, except Washburne, McCull¥ a~d Monroe, who were absent. Meeting called to order by the Ma~or at 7;~8 o'clock P.M. Minutes of m~etlngs of June 1]$tb, and 27th, 1927, rea~ and approv ed. R.S.Brysen appeared and spoke in behalf of the petition to pave Victoria ]{e lght s. E.C.Robbins appeared ~nd spoke on the contrition of Birch Lane and aske~ for its betterment by paving or grovelling before the fall rains set in. The matter of the condition of the fill on sal4 street an~ the a~vislbilit¥ of paving on such fill at this time was referred to the Street Committee and City E~gineer for a report at the next meeting of the Oouncll. The Finance Committee reco;,mende~ the estimate cf J.R.UcKy at $]$]$3.70 be paid on the drainage ditch between 19th and 2$th Aves. from Oak St. to alley between Patterson an4 Hllyard Sts. On motion such recommendation was adopte~. The Finance Cmmittee recommended the estimate of b P Harmon at $3184.3~ for g~adlng Victoria Heights be Paid. On motion such recmmmendation was a~oPted.
