Willl~mson and all members of the Council, except Washburne, <br />McCull¥ a~d Monroe, who were absent. Meeting called to order by the Ma~or at <br />7;~8 o'clock P.M. Minutes of m~etlngs of June 1]$tb, and 27th, 1927, rea~ and <br />approv ed. <br /> <br /> R.S.Brysen appeared and spoke in behalf of the petition to pave Victoria <br />]{e lght s. <br /> <br /> E.C.Robbins appeared ~nd spoke on the contrition of Birch Lane and aske~ <br />for its betterment by paving or grovelling before the fall rains set in. The <br />matter of the condition of the fill on sal4 street an~ the a~vislbilit¥ of <br />paving on such fill at this time was referred to the Street Committee and City <br />E~gineer for a report at the next meeting of the Oouncll. <br /> <br /> Bi~s were opened for grading and gravelling Sylvan Street from the S.P. <br /> right of wa~ to the South City Limits, a~ foblows~ <br /> A.C.Mathews ~1~. ~ <br /> Eugene San4 a~ Gravel Co.172~.0~ <br />Such bld~ were referre~ t~ the Street Committee for report am~ It reporte~ <br />favcrabl~ on the bi4 of A.C.~athews at $1458.0~. On motion such recommendation was adopte~. <br /> <br /> The Finance Cmmittee recommended the estimate of b P Harmon at $3184.3~ <br />for g~adlng Victoria Heights be Paid.
