Said matter was referred to the Police Commit%-ee' <br /> <br /> W.S.Starr aPPeared and presented a petition for a hamburger stand em <br />wheels some 35 feet e~t Df the alley on the south side of llth Avenue be- <br />tween Wi11~.mette ami Oak Streets. Said petition was granted with the re- <br />s.ervatlon it shall be removed if ,adjoining.property owners object. <br /> <br /> b H Johnson ~f the U of 0 appeared asking parking of cars on b~th AvenUe <br />from Ktncsld to Potter Streets be Prohibited for the benefit Df students. <br />Satd matter wa~ referred to the Pollce Uonzmlttee. <br /> <br /> As Per the Call,bids were oPened for paving Agate Street from Franklin <br />Blvd. south to the existing pavement, as <br /> Hargreaves end Llndsa~ $1428.05 <br /> Sbien Bros. 1508.00 <br />Said matter was referred to the Street Committee for report and it recommended <br />the bid of Ha_rgreaves and Llndsay at $1~28.0§, and the Mayor and Recorder <br />were instructed te enter iht, a contract with .such successful bidder f,r such <br />contract work. <br /> <br /> As per the call,bids were opened te pave 2nd Avenue from Van Buren St., <br />to Blair Blvd., as follows: <br /> 8tien Bros. $3568.55 <br /> Hargreaves end Llndsay 3569.~0 <br />Said bids ,.~ere referred to tee Street Committee for report, ~d It recommended <br />the bid ~f Nargreaves and Llnd3~ at $3369.0~, ~d the Mayer ~d Recorder <br />were instruct~ reenter lnt~ a c~ntr~t~tth such successfu~ bidder for such <br />contract work. <br /> <br />As per the call, bids were opened to construct a se,~er on the South side <br /> <br />of 15th Ave. from Hilyard to Alder Sis., <br /> Oscar Snow <br /> Hargreaves and Llndsa2 <br /> Yunker Wlecks sad Ce. <br /> St lan Bros. <br /> <br />as follows: <br /> $979.56 <br /> 1027.5 0 <br /> 1116.65 <br /> 1223.4~ <br /> <br />Said bids were referred to the Sewer Committee for report, and it recommended <br />the bid of Oscar Snow at $979.~6, end the Mayor and ~ecorder were instru~ted <br />t~ enter into a contract with such successful bidder for such contract <br /> <br /> As per the call, bids were opened to construct a sewer on the We~t side <br />cf University ~t., fr~m 24th to 25th Aves., thence west on North side Df 25th <br /> <br />Avenue te Amazon Slough, as fellows: <br /> Oscar Snow <br /> Ilargreaves and Pindsay <br /> Yunker Wiecks ~nd Co. <br /> 8tiem Bros. <br /> <br />L7285.~0 <br />1a~74.oo <br />19635.oo <br /> <br />Said bids were referre] to the Sewer Committee for report, and it recommended <br />the bid of Oscar Snow at $1~921.~0, and the Mayor end Recorder were instructed <br />to enter intD a contract with such successful bidder for such contract work. <br /> <br /> As per the call for bids under Ordinance number, bids were opened for <br />sidewalk construction, these bids marked "approved" being awarded the contract <br />in each case as follows: <br /> <br />0 rdlnanc e No. 6221 <br /> Read end Monroe <br /> P.
