· An 0rdinsnCe levying assessments for, paving 20th Ave. frota Charnelton St. to. Lincoln St. was read the first time and laid over. An Ordinance levying assessments for improving Charnelton Street between 17th and 24th Aves. by paving intersections of said Charnelton St'. with 21st, 22nd, and 23rd Aves., was read the first time and la,~d over. An 0rdlnance levying assessments for improving Washington St. by paving intersection of said street with 14th, 15th, 16th, and 18th Aves., was read the First time and laid over. An Ordinance levying assessments for paving the alley way r~.mnlng parallel with West 7th ami West 8th Aves., between Lawrence and Lincoln Sts., was read the flint time and laid over. Councilman Washburae recommended a campaign be put on to carry the bond issue and measures at the coming special elect ion. After discussion the matter was referred to the City Attorney wlth power to arrange such campaign. Councilman l{onroe ~lled a written resignation as councilman From the Ward to become effective at once and expressed his regret for being compelled to ieave the council on account of him ~avlng removed fpr his wa~d.
