<br /> <br />In November 2006, Resolution No. 4893 was adopted, committing the City to sustainable practices and <br />to businesses that produce sustainable products and services. This was followed in February 2007, by <br />Ordinance No. 20379 which created the Sustainability Commission. <br /> <br /> <br />TRIPLE BOTTOM LINE IMPACTS <br />The Triple Bottom Line (TBL) framework is fundamental to the work of the Sustainability Commission <br />and is reflected in the feedback provided to the council on Envision Eugene. The commission also <br />provided input on, and participated in, a series of staff-facilitated work sessions to identify potential <br />impacts in the areas of social equity, economic prosperity, and environmental health. The results of these <br />work sessions were shared with the council in the documents accompanying “Envision Eugene: A <br />Legacy of Livability.” <br /> <br /> <br />COUNCIL OPTIONS <br /> <br />No action is required. The council could request additional consideration and input on Envision Eugene <br />from the Sustainability Commission. <br /> <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER’S RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />No recommendation is necessary.
