telecommunications facilities including cellular radio - telephones, personal <br />communications services, enhanced/specialized mobile radios, and commercial <br />paging services. <br />Tentative Plan. A preliminary drawing or diagram concerning a partition, <br />subdivision, or planned unit development. <br />Theater. A building used for public presentations of entertainment or cultural events. <br />Through Lot.. A lot, other than a corner lot, with frontage on more than one street. <br />Through lots with frontage on two streets may be referred to as "double- frontage" <br />lots. <br />Topping. Cutting of the branches or trunks of a tree, where such cutting removes: <br />(A) More than 30 percent of the branches 6 inches in diameter or larger; or <br />(B) The main trunk or trunks, <br />or as otherwise defined in the edition of the American National Standards Institute <br />(ANSI) Section A300, Tree, Shrub and Other Woody Plant Maintenance Standard <br />Practices in effect at the time the topping occurs, except that topping shall not in any <br />context mean pruning measures commonly used to maintain trees grown for the <br />purpose of crop production. <br />Traffic Control Device. Any sign, signal, or other device placed, operated or erected <br />under authority of a road authority, as defined by state law, for the purpose of guiding, <br />directing, warning or regulating vehicular or pedestrian traffic. <br />Transit Authority. A transit district established under ORS 267.010 to 267.3 90. <br />Transit, Neighborhood Improvement. Transit amenities .such as a bus stop, shelter, <br />or shared -use park and ride with less than 25 spaces where the park and ride use is <br />accessory to an existing church, shopping area, or other principal use. Neighborhood <br />transit improvements may accommodate up to 2 buses. <br />Transit Park and Ride, Major. Public parking areas accommodating 100 or more <br />motor vehicles, designed to provide access to transit and other transportation services, <br />and which is managed by a public transit agency. These parking areas may function as <br />shared parking areas with other land uses. A major park and ride facility generally <br />includes buses operating off - street and passenger amenities provided off - street, such <br />as larger -style bus shelter, lighting, passenger information, and bicycle storage <br />facilities. Restrooms may be provided for transit employees or the public. <br />Transit Parr and Ride, Minor. Public parking areas accommodating 99 or fewer <br />motor vehicles, designed to provide access to transit and other transportation services, <br />Ordinance - 38 <br />
