No meal period is required if the work period is less than 6 <br />hours. This time is unpaid as long as an employee is relieved of all duties. If an <br />employee performs any job duties during the meal period, that portion of the meal time <br />must be paid. Employees are expected to notify their supervisor as soon as possible if <br />this occurs.
