ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 21-11-02 <br />of the City Manager <br />City of Eugene, Oregon <br />DELEGATING TO THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF CENTRAL <br />SERVICES THE AUTHORITY TO AMEND THE ADMINISTRATIVE <br />POLICY MANUAL. <br />The City Manager of the City of Eugene finds that: <br />A. Under the provisions of Chapter ITT, Section 15 of the Eugene Charter of 2002, <br />the City Manager is designated as the administrative head of the City, and is specifically <br />authorized to appoint and remove all employees (except as otherwise provided in the Charter), <br />and to enforce all ordinances of the City. <br />B. On August 1, 2011, I issued Administrative order No. - 44 -11 -05 adopting the <br />City's Administrative Policy Manual (APM). <br />C. I find it would be more efficient and in the public interest to delegate to the <br />Executive Director of Central Service the authority to make amendments to the APM. <br />NOW, THERFORE, <br />The City Manager of the City of Eugene orders that: <br />11 The above findings are adopted. <br />2. The Executive Director of Central Services is authorized to amend the APM. <br />3. The Executive Director of Central Services is authorized to delegate the <br />responsibility of amending the APM to Central Services Division Managers. <br />Dated and effective this 1' day of August, 2011. <br />Jon R.
