Stephanie <br />Jennings was also appointed as the new project manager. <br /> <br />On September 19, the Springfield City Council voted 4-to-1 in support of the new Work Plan <br />and Memorandum of Understanding. It is important to note that the contents of the Work Plan <br />are still being reviewed by HUD and changes may be recommended or required. <br /> <br />Next Steps – If the new governance structure and Work Plan are approved by HUD, this project <br />will be led and managed by the Project Management Team, with oversight from the Leadership <br />Committee, and supported with grant funds through the HUD Sustainable Communities Grant. <br />The Lane Council of Governments will serve as the fiduciary partner for the grant. <br /> <br /> <br />RELATED CITY POLICIES <br />The Consortium project seeks to build on the strengths of existing regional efforts and plans as <br />well as plans specific to participating jurisdictions and agencies.
