WELCOME <br /> <br />Ms. Smith called the meeting of the Mayor's Committee on Economic Development (MCED) to order at <br />1:06 p.m. She explained that Mr. Forbes would be joining the committee at about 1:45 p.m. and had <br />asked Ms. Smith to chair the meeting until his arrival. <br /> <br />II. APPROVE MINUTES FROM MEETING tt4 <br /> <br /> Ms. Pierce, seconded by Mr. Rexius, moved to approve minutes from <br /> Meeting #4. <br /> <br />Mr. Bowerman submitted a correction to page 6, last paragraph, second line (omission in italics, <br />correction in bold), changing "commercial/residential to "commercial/industrial." <br /> <br />Ms. Teninty submitted a correction to page 3, paragraph 7, line 3 (addition in bold), "... because <br />employees did not earn enough money to support themselves." <br /> <br /> The minutes were deemed approved with revisions. <br /> <br />IlL REVIEW MAYOR'S CHARGE TO THE COMMITTEE <br /> <br />Ms. Smith read the Mayor's charge to the committee.
