will _serve as an advisory body to the Council, Planning Commission, <br />and other City boards, commissions and committees on matters affect- <br />ing the area it represents; will be recognized by the City as the <br />"official voice" of that area; will be p l aced on the Neighborhood <br />Liaison's mailing list to insure receipt of council agendas, action <br />summaries, agendas and minutes of Neighborhood Leaders meetings, <br />newsletters from neighborhood groups, and special .information on <br />city projects and programs; and will be entitled to attend neighbor- <br />hood workshops and become members of the Neighborhood Leaders Associ- <br />ation. <br />(4) Except as provided herein, the City shall not provide any <br />staff support, funding for newsletters, or funding for an other <br />g Y <br />purposes, or any materials or supplies to or on behalf of any organi- <br />zations recognized hereunder. <br />(5) subject to the limitations expressed herein, organizations <br />attaining limited recognition status shall be entitled to the bene- <br />fits and subject to the criteria and limitations imposed in the City's <br />Neighborhood Organization Recognition Policy set forth in Resolution <br />No. 2554. <br />(6) In the event the area represented by an organization <br />granted limited recognition hereunder is annexed to the City, the <br />organization may apply for full recognition in conformity with other <br />City neighborhood organizations <br />Section 2 . The Limited Neighborhood Organization Recognition Policy <br />established herein shall continue in effect for a period of two years from <br />the date of adoption of this Resolution unless earlier amended,- modified or <br />repealed.
