The roundtable builds upon the
ongoing work of the Human Rights at Home (HuRAH) Campaign – a multi-stakeholder coalition of U.S.-based groups,
including human rights, civil rights, civil liberties and social and criminal justice organizations, that advocates for
domestic human rights accountability at the federal, state, and local levels. Through a number of initiatives, the
campaign works to strengthen human rights in the United States by fostering and expanding partnerships with diverse
communities and government agencies and officials and supporting efforts to build human rights into the way
government operates.

EUGENE CITY COUNCIL NEWSLETTER PAGE 1
April 19, 2012
