PA 1281 (LC16.253) <br /> <br />Leiken opened the meeting for the Lane County Board of Commissioners. <br /> <br />Present from Lane County were Board Chair Sid Leiken, Jay Bozievich, Rob <br />Handy and Faye Stewart present. Pete Sorenson was excused. <br /> <br />Mayor Piercy opened the meeting for the Eugene City Council. Present from the <br />Eugene City Council were Mayor Kitty Piercy, Andrea Ortiz, George Poling, <br />George Brown, Pat Farr and Chris Pryor. Mike Clark, Alan Zelenka and Betty <br />Taylor were excused. <br /> <br />Mayor Lundberg opened the meeting for the Springfield City Council. Present <br />from the Springfield City Council were Mayor Christine Lundberg, Sheri Moore, <br />Dave Ralston, Joe Pishoneri and Sean Van Gordon. Hillary Wylie and Marilee <br />Woodrow were excused. <br /> <br />Leiken explained that tonight they are holding a joint Public Hearing of the <br />Eugene and Springfield City Councils and Lane County elected officials to <br />consider amendments to the Eugene Springfield Metropolitan General Plan, <br />commonly referred to as the Metro Plan. He added that the Lane County Board of <br />Commissioners will be considering related amendments that are specific to the <br />Lane County Rural Comprehensive Plan for areas that are removed from the <br />Metro Plan. <br /> <br />Mott explained that the Springfield City Council is conducting a joint hearing and <br />the First Reading on the following ordinance: an Ordinance amending the Eugene <br />Springfield Metropolitan Area General Plan Metro Plan by adopting a new Metro <br />8 <br /> <br /> <br />
