Attachment D: Text responses from consumer plastic bag ban survey building I live in has recycle container I use them to line trash can, then burn I use them for cleaning cat litter and put themj in GARBAGE cans. my recycle pick up sanipac where i work has a plastic bag recycling bin. use for indoor trash It's a special trip out of my way, and a big pain! Also at transfer stations. recycle at my apt house at the dog park St. Vinnie's I anticipate a ban. I am hoarding bags for the future. Library Recycling truck EcoSort (Weyerhaeuser) in Glenwood use to line my wastebaskets at home then put out for garbage Use for disposing dog poop The ASUO U of O Campus Donate for reuse to Habitat Restore NextStep through our school; not sure where they take them; BRING I didn't know it was possible here. If I get too many, I will bring them to Fred Meyers to recycle, but this is a rare occurence. keep re-using any, not just carryout, plastic bags. In the end they may be used for bones or as poop sacks. Use them over & over until they are torn. Extremely handy. Light weight, not bulky, just right as I am handicapped and must have something that will loop over my walker handle. DON'T BAN THEM! Can't select more than one option. If I could Id say other members of household don't recycle because they don't deal with housekeeping as much and so they tend to forget to use cloth bags also I mostly reuse them and throw away or recycle to Sanapac keep them all at home for different uses As I said above, I save them. In ten years, they'll be extremely valuable. retail or grocery stores I don't have any to recycle Give to friends for poop scooping i use them to clean up after my dogs.
