<br />COUNCIL OPTIONS <br /> <br />This item is scheduled for public hearing only. Council action will occur subsequent to the public <br />hearing and the close of the record. Council action is scheduled for September 10, 2012, which is the <br />first available meeting date following the council’s recess. Council action is required to: <br /> <br />1. Approve the vacation request by ordinance; <br />2. Modify and approve the vacation request by ordinance; or, <br />3. Deny the vacation request by ordinance. <br /> <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER’S RECOMMENDATION <br />The City Manager recommends that the City Council hold and close the public hearing on the vacation <br />request and then take action on the next available council meeting, September 10, 2012.
