No action is requested. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND <br />The Risk Fund (Fund 622) is the internal service fund that accounts for the City' s insurance and <br />self-insured claims programs, not including the employee benefits programs which are accounted for in <br />Fund 623. All departments pay annual risk rates to the Risk Fund based on an internal cost allocation <br />system. The Budget Committee periodically reviews the Risk Fund as part of the budget process.
