More detail regarding these regulations and strategies for <br />compliance are provided in Section 4.0 of this document. <br />2.10 Existing and Planned Educational Facilities <br />The River Road Santa Clara basin currently has nine public schools (including two middle <br />schools and one high school) and one private school. No additional schools are currently planned <br />in the basin. <br />2.11 Existing and Planned Park and Recreational Facilities <br />The River Road Santa Clara basin contains 69 acres of public park land spread over 13 separate <br />park parcels (see Map 12). The two largest parks are Emerald Park (9.78 acres) and Walnut <br />Grove (19.75). <br />Because of its environmental, historic and social significance, Walnut Grove Park is one of the <br />few neighborhood parks in Eugene to be maintained as a natural environment.
