<br />1. PUBLIC FORUM
<br />• Regna Meritt, Portland, supported Resolution 5065, opposing transport of coal.
<br />• Deb Frisch suggested the Register -Guard is a bad influence in our community.
<br />• Lynn Anderson opposed coal transport citing declining property values and huge costs to taxpayers.
<br />• Debra McGee opposed coal transport, citing health issues.
<br />• Sally Crum opposed coal transport, citing health issues.
<br />• Jim Olmsted opposed coal transport through Eugene.
<br />• Mel Bankoff opposed coal trains, citing health and protecting the earth for youth.
<br />• Laura Ohanian opposed coal transport citing environmental concerns.
<br />• Paul Cosgrove, Portland, opposed some of the language of the bag ban; supported eliminating fee.
<br />• B Rivers, opposed coal transport and wanted jobs discussions to happen - visioning session for jobs.
