<br /> <br />“Computer Institute” Offers Beginner to Advanced Classes for Computer Users <br />The Recreation Division’s Senior Program offers small, low-cost computer classes for adults <br />designed to get participants up to speed with the latest in computer technology. Classes will be <br />held at Campbell Community Center and range from the basic, “How do I turn it on?” for <br />beginners, to Comprehensive Computer Skills for more advanced users. <br /> <br />Other classes teach seniors how to use social media, MS Office basics, and how to find and use <br />City services online. Campbell Center also offers individual computer tutoring. The center’s <br />computer lab is open for individual use Monday - Friday from 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., and it’s free. <br /> <br />For more information about Campbell’s Computer Institute, call Tom Powers at 541-682-5318. <br /> <br /> <br />Plan to Attend Fix-It Fair on January 26 <br />The City of Eugene is hosting its first Fix-It Fair in the Bethel/Trainsong neighborhood at Willamette High School, 1801 <br />Echo Hollow Road, on Saturday, Jan. 26, from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. The event will showcase simple and affordable ways to save <br />money and improve the health of homes and families. A wide array of free resources will be available, including workshops <br />and local community organizations, with information in English and Spanish.
