In addition, ongoing efforts to implement technological advancements and <br />operational efficiencies for the City-owned fleet of vehicles and equipment has also played a <br />significant role in this effort. <br /> <br /> <br />RELATED CITY POLICIES <br />Fleet and Radio Communication Services Policy and Procedures manual-Vehicle replacement <br />policy 4.6.4 Sustainability: The purchase of alternative fuel vehicles and other environmentally <br />sensitive technologies which are economically feasible at the time of a vehicle’s replacement will <br />be included in the decision process when replacing vehicles and equipment. <br /> <br /> <br />COUNCIL OPTIONS <br />No action is required. <br /> <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER’S RECOMMENDATION <br />No action is required. <br /> <br /> <br />SUGGESTED MOTION <br />No action is required. <br /> <br /> S:\CMO\2013 Council Agendas\M130220\S130220B.doc <br /> <br />
