Their <br />daughter, Alberta, grew up here and the <br />house served as the wedding site when <br />she married Robert McMurphey, a <br />businessman in 1893 (wedding shown at <br />right; photo: Winter Photo Company). Drs. <br />Eva and Curtis Johnson acquired the <br />house in 1950 and deeded it to public <br />domain in 1975.
