I can't see that anything is to be gained by <br />the change, and if the change is made, our property, which is named for the street, will <br />lose its identity. We would then be faced with a name change! And that's no small task! <br />Also, our tenants would be inconvenienced by having to notify friends, family, banks, <br />creditors, employers, etc., if you take this action. <br /> <br />The improvements that have been made to Fourth Avenue are very fine, but not <br />sufficient reason to make the name change. Renaming Fourth Avenue to Shelton Blvd., <br />won't necessarily mean that Mapquest will get it right, either. Really. <br /> <br />Please, resist the temptation to think that a name change will further the progress of <br />Eugene in this instance!
