(Relationship <br />of the Area to the Railroad, Policy 2) <br />(c) Residential developments shall be designed to minimize potential conflicts with adjacent <br />agricultural operations. (Urban and Agricultural Fringe Areas, Policy 1) <br />(d) With the exception of high voltage transmission lines, require the installation of <br />underground utilities in developing areas. (Signs /Utilities subsection, Policy 2) <br />(e) Landscape buffers shall be provided for power substations in the study area by the <br />responsible utility. (Signs /Utilities subsection, Policy 3) <br />(f) Encourage the preservation and restoration of structures, landmarks, sites, and areas of <br />cultural, historic, or archaeological significance. (Policy 2) <br />The applicant is aware of the need for alternative modes of transportation and that different street <br />improvements serve different functions. <br />The applicant is proposing annexation of one tax lot. Based on this written narrative and the supporting <br />documents, the applicant has demonstrated that this application is consistent both the criteria and <br />intention of the Eugene City Code as set forth in EC 9.7825. <br />C: <br />
