No action is requested. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND <br />The Health and Benefits Fund (Fund 623) is the internal service fund that accounts for the City's health <br />insurance programs and employee benefits administration. All departments pay health rates to the <br />Health & Benefits Fund each pay period. The Budget Committee periodically reviews the Health & <br />Benefits Fund as part of the budget process.
