APPROVING RESIDENCY STATUS AT THE HULT CENTER FOR
BALLET FANTASTIQUE.
The City Manager of the City of Eugene finds that:
A. The Residency Requirements for Arts Organizations were approved and adopted
by Resolution No. 4017 of the City Council on January 12, 1987. The Residency Requirements
have subsequently been amended, with the most recent amendment by Resolution No. 4669 on
April 23, 2001, and are currently entitled Residency Criteria, Benefits, and Scheduling Practices
for Arts Organizations (the Residency Criteria). The Residency Criteria establish the criteria and
procedure by which local performing organizations may be designated Resident Companies of
the Hult Center.
B. In accordance with the Residency Criteria, the City's Cultural Services Division
has submitted to the City Manager its determination that Ballet Fantastique meets the
requirements of the Residency Criteria and has recommended that it be declared a Resident
Company of the Hult Center.
C. The recommendation of the City's Cultural Services Division has been reviewed
and should be approved.

NOW, THEREFORE, the City Manager of the City of Eugene orders and directs
1. Based upon the above findings which are adopted, Ballet Fantastique is declared
to be a Resident Company of the Hult Center effective July 1, 2014, through June 30, 2015.
Continuation of its status as a Resident Company shall thereafter be governed by the provisions
of the Hult Center Residency Criteria, Benefits, and Scheduling Practices for Arts Organizations
which provides for annual review and approval of continued status by Hult Center staff or
withdrawal of approval by the City Manager.
2. A copy of this Administrative Order shall. be forwarded to Ballet Fantastique.
