WORK SESSION: Delta Sand and Gravel Recommended Motion – Denying application based on review of all relevant criteria: City Council President: I move that the City Council adopt Council Bill 4971, an ordinance denying proposal to amend the Eugene-Springfield Metropolitan Area General Plan (Metro Plan) to revise the Goal 5 significant mineral and aggregate resources inventory and redesignate from “Agriculture” to “Sand & Gravel . Roll Call Vote Alternate Motion #1 – Denying application based on applicant’s failure to prove that the site contains significant aggregate resources: Eugene City Council Agenda: April 21, 2008 F:\CMO\2008 Council Agendas\M080421\A080421S.doc City Council President: I move that the City Council adopt Council Bill 4972, an ordinance denying proposal to amend the Eugene-Springfield Metropolitan Area General Plan (Metro Plan) to revise the Goal 5 significant mineral and aggregate resources inventory and redesignate from “Agriculture” to “Sand & Gravel. Roll Call Vote Alternate Motion #2 – Approving application: City Council President: I move that the City Council adopt Council Bill 4973, an ordinance amending the Eugene-Springfield Metropolitan Area General Plan (Metro Plan) to revise the Goal 5 significant mineral and aggregate resources inventory and to redesignate land from “Agriculture” to “Sand & Gravel.” Roll Call Vote Adjourn.
