ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. 57-08-02
of the
City Manager of the City of Eugene
TERMINATING WILLAMETTE REPERTORY THEATRE'S
RESIDENCY STATUS AT THE HULT CENTER FOR THE
PERFORMING ARTS.
The City Manager of the City of Eugene f"mds that:
A. The Residency Requirements for Arts Organizations were approved and adopted
by Resolution No. 4017 of the City Council on January 12, 1987. The Residency Requirements
have been subsequently amended, with the most recent amendment by Resolution No. 4669 on
April 23, 2001, and are currently entitled Residency Criteria, Benefits, and Scheduling Practices
for Arts Organizations (the Residency Criteria). The Residency Criteria establish the criteria and
procedure by which local performing organizations may be designated Resident Companies of
the Hult Center.
B. Based on the recommendation of the City's Cultural Services Division, on June 5
2002, the City Manager Pro Tern issued Administrative Order No. ~-02-06 declaring the VV~
Willamette Repertory Company a Resident Company of the Hult Center.
C. The Willamette Repertory Company will be ceasing operations and, therefore, its
residency status should be terminated.
NOW, THEREFORE,
It is hereby ordered that:
1. Based upon the above findings, which are adopted, the Willamette Repertory
Theatre is terminated as a Resident Company of the Hult Center for the Performing Arts effective
June 30, 2008.
2. A copy of this Administrative Order shall be forwarded to the City's Cultural
Services Division.
