WORK SESSION: Multi-Unit Property Tax Exemption Program, Boundary and Selection Criteria City Council President: I move to conduct a public hearing on an amendment to the MUPTE ordinance to incorporate the changes identified in attachments A and C-3. Roll Call Vote 7:30 p.m. CITY COUNCIL MEETING Council Chamber, City Hall 1.PUBLIC FORUM Mayor: The Public Forum is an opportunity for individuals to speak to the City Council on any city-related issues except for those items which have already been heard by a Hearings Official or are on tonight’s agenda as a public hearing. Each person will have three minutes to speak. When you come to the podium, please give your name, city of residence, and, for Eugene residents, your ward if known. The timer and lights indicate the time you have to speak. A yellow light will come on when you have 15 seconds to complete your comments. The red light indicates the end of three minutes. Mayor closes Public Forum and asks for comments from the City Council. 2. CONSENT CALENDAR A. Approval of City Council Minutes - November 28, 2007, Work Session - February 25, 2008, Work Session - April 21, 2008, Work Session - April 28, 2008, Work Session B. Approval of Tentative Working Agenda C. Ratification of Intergovernmental Relations Committee Actions of April 23, 2008 D. Approval of Fairmount Neighbors Eugene 08 Neighborhood Grant Council President: I move to approve the items on the Consent Calendar. Roll Call Vote 3.ACTION: An Ordinance Concerning Public Contracting Provisions; Repealing Section 2.150 of the Eugene Code, 1971; Amending Sections 2.1420 and 2.1430 of that Code; and Adding a New Section 2.1447 to that Code Eugene City Council Agenda: May 27, 2008 Z:\CMO\2008 Council Agendas\M080527\A080527S.doc City Council President: I move that the City Council adopt Council Bill 4977, an ordinance concerning public contracting provisions. Roll Call Vote 4.ACTION: An Ordinance Concerning Rental Housing Standards; Amending Section 8.425 of the Eugene Code, 1971; and Repealing Section 5 of Ordinance No. 20239 City Council President: I move that the City Council adopt Council Bill 4978, an ordinance concerning rental housing standards.
