ISSUE STATEMENT
The Eugene City Council will receive an update from the Oregon Department of Transportation
(ODOT) about the replacement I-5/Willamette River Bridge. ODOT staff will present details of the
bridge type selection process and bridge types under consideration. The council will have an opportunity
to ask questions of ODOT staff.
BACKGROUND
Due to concerns of ex parte contact regarding a separate land use action by the Eugene City Council
(Agenda Item 7A), background information will be provided in advance of ODOT’s presentation.
