ORDINANCE N0. 8630
An Ordinance vacating the following described area, to-wit: ~

Baker Boulevard in Onyx Flat, an Addition to the City of Eugene.
4JHEREAS, Heretofore and on the 27th day of November, 1939, the Common
'Council of the City of Eugene passed an Ordinance setting a hearing for January 8, i
1940, in the Council Chambers in the City Hall, in the City of Eugene, at which time
hand place protests and remonstrances could be heard as to the vacation of the
I~following premises, to-wit:
Baker Boulevard in Onyx Plat, an Addition to the City of Eugene.
and
V'iHEREAS, hearing was held pursuant to said Ordinance in the City Hall in
the City of Eugene on the 8th day of January, 1940, at 7130 o'clock p.m. and at said
time the Council heard alI objections, and
WHEREAS, all persons owning property abutting upon said street have consent
said vacation and have applied for said vacation, it being the purpose of said
cation to make the property in said block suitable for building sites,
Now, Therefore,
THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:_
Section 1. The Common Council of the City of Eugene finds that due and
egal notice of the said hearing was published and posted as required by law; that
o valid objection to said vacation has been made at said hearing', or filed; that
he consent of the owners of the abutting property, properly acknowledged, has
een filed in said proceeding; and,that the public interest will not be prejudiced
v the vacation of said street.
Section 2, That the following described area, to-wit:
Baker Boulevard in Onyx Plat, An Addition to the City of Eugene
e and the same is hereby vacated, and the area so vacated, being a street, shall
evert to the abutting property pursuant to the statutes of the state of Oregon.
Section 4. The Recorder be and he is hereby directed to file a certified
opy of this ordinance with the Recorder of Lane County, together with a map
r plat of said property, and that a certified copy of the ordinance shall be filed
ith the County Assessor, and another certified copy of the ordinance shall be filed
ith the County Surveyor.
