An Ordinance amending Section 4 of Ordinance No. 5204 entitled:

coaloil, gasoline, naptha and other hydro-carbon liquids ~
that will take fire and burn at a temperature below 120 ~j

passed by the Common Council and approved by the I~Iayor on January 11, 1926.
THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That Section 4 of Ordinance No. 5204 entitled:
"An Ordinance, to regulate the storage and handling of
coaloil, gasoline, naptha and other hydro-carbon liquids
that will take fire and burn at a temperature below 120
degrees Farenheit."

passed by the Common Council and approved by the RrIayor on January ll, 1926, be
!and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 4. It shall be the duty of the Building Inspector
to investigate such application and to issue the permit
thereof upon being satisfied that the proposed storage of
such liquids or the installation of such tank or tanks shall come
within the provisions of this Ordinance. Provided however,
that no permit for the installation of any tank or tanks
' on ~Yillamette Street between 19th Ave. and the Southern
~~ Pacific Railroad tracks shall be granted without a special
permit by the Council."
