IMPROVEMENT ORDINANCE
Ordinance N0. 8667
An ordinance to construct a concrete sewer extending South from Cheshire
Street in the alley between Lincoln and Lawrence Streets .and serving the herein-
~after described property,
THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOUdS:
Section 1. That the Common Council of the City of Eugene, Lane~County,
Oregon, does hereby declare its intention to improve the following described
property, to-wit:
Beginning 66 feet North of the Northeast corner of Block 1,
Sheltons First Addition to Eugene, Lane County, Oregon, run
thence West 54 feet, thence North 103 feet, thence East 54 feet,
thence South 103 feet to the place of beginning, all in the City
of Eugene, Lane County, Oregon. .
by constructing a sewer as above described and making such other and further
improvements in connection therewith as may be necessary and proper to a
properly constructed sewer all in accordance with the plans and specifications to
Ibe prepared by the City Engineer as hereinafter specified.
Section 2. That the costs of said improvement shall be assessed and be
borne by the property abutting upon said improvement, and there shall be included
as a part of the costs thereof, the engineer's charges for his services thereon
,not to exceed five per cent of the contract price therefor.
Section 3. That the city engineer is hereby directed to make and prepare
plans and specifications for the said improvement as provided by section one of this
Ordinance and file the same with the City Recorder.
