An Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 81413 of the City of Eugene, entitled:
"An Ordinance to create or divide the City into Districts within some of which it
shall be lawful, and within others of which it shall be unlawful to erect,
construct, alter or maintain certain buildings, or to carry on certain trades
or callings, or within which the height and bulk of future buildings shall be
limited, and providing for setbaok lines, end providing fb r a penalty for the
violation thereof."
passed by the Common Council April 8, 1935, and approved by the Mayor April 9, 1935•
~ffiEREAS, under the direction of the Common Council of the City of Eugene the
City Planning Commission has prepared a tentative report and held hearings thereon and have
adopted the tentative report as their final and permanent report and transmitted the same
to the City Council with recommendation that the scree be enacted into an ordinance,
Now, Therefore,
'THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLO@V'S:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. 8.t~.7.3 entitled:
"An ordinance to oreate or divide the City into Districts within some of
which it shall be lawful, and within others of which it shall be unlawful
to ereot, oonatruct, alter or maintain certain buildings, or to carry on
certain trades or oallinge, or within wh ioh the height and bulk of future
buildings shall be limited, and providing for setback lines, and providing
for a penalty for the violation thereof."
passed by the Common Council April 8, 1835, and approved by the Mayor April 9, 1935, be and
the same is hereby amended so as to reclassify a certain area in the following partioulars:
That the classification of the three corners of Nineteenth and Hilyard
Streets in the City of Eugene, Lane County, Oregon, omitting the North-
west corner, be and the same is hereby changed from a business district
to a multiple family residence distriot.
Section-2. That the City Engineer be and he is hereby direoted to cause the map
attached to Ordinance No. 81+13 to show the foregoing changes in olassification of areas and
to note thereon the rule with respect to buildings in a business zone.
