ORDINANCE 8699
An Ordinance amending Ordinance 8413 of the City of Eugene, entitled:
TMAn Ordinance to create or divide the City into districts within
some of which it shall be lawful, and vdithin others of which it
shall be unlawful to erect, construct, alter or maintain certain
buildings, or to carry on certain traders or callings, or within
which the height and bulk of future buildings shall be limited

V~~REAS, under the direction of the Common Council of the City of Eugene
the City Planning Comn~ssion has prepared a tentative report and held hearings
thereon and have adopted the tentative report as their final and permanent report
and transmitted the same to the City Council with recommendation that the same be
enacted into an ordinance,
Now, Therefore,
TI-~ CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AU FOLLO~JIS;
Section 1. That Ordinance No. 8413 entitled:
"An ordinance to create or divide the City into Districts within
some of which it shall be lawful, and within others of which it
shall be unlawf ul to erect, construct, alter or maintain certain
buildings, or to carry on certain trUdes or callings, or within
which the height and bulk of future buildings shall be limited
and providing for setback lines, and providing for a penalty for
the violation thereof."
passed by the Common Council April 8, 1935, and approved by the Mayor April 9,
1935, be and the same is hereby amended so as to reclassify a certain area in the
following particulars:
That the classification of:
Lot 6, and the ~^~est 24.8 feet of Lot 7, Block 3, Gdallis Dorris
Addition to Eugene, Lane County, Oregon.
The area lying between t~~lillamette Street and fiilyard Street
and North of 19th Avenue, Eugene, Lane County, Oregon.

Lot 2, and the North half of Lot 3, Block 3$, Gross Addition
to Eugene, Lane County, Oregon.
Lot 8, Block 22, College Hill Park Addition to Eugene, Lane
County, Uregonl
The East 44 feet of Lot 5 and the ,Vest 16 feet of Lot 6, Block
4, ti~allis Dorris Addition to Eugene, Lane County, Oregon;
be and the same are hereby changed froth single family residence districts to mul-
tiple family residence districts.
Section 2. That the City Engineer be and he is hereby directed to cause

the map attached to Ordinance No. 8413 to show the foregoing changes in classificat
of areas and to note thereon the rule with respect to buildin~,s in single fa7lily
residence zones.
